Privacy text for shops

A shop that puts the try-on widget on its pages sends the shopper's photo to the service. The shop has to say so in its own privacy policy. Below is a ready paragraph. Copy it into the policy as it is, or adapt the wording.

The text exists in English and in Russian, so use the one that matches your shop.

English

Virtual try-on. Product pages use the Ziex Try-On virtual try-on service. When you use the try-on, the photo you upload and the product image are sent to the service to create the try-on image. The service uses the fal.ai compute platform to generate the image. Your photo and the try-on result are stored on the service's servers for 180 days and are then deleted automatically. Your try-on results («My looks») are also kept in your browser on this device for up to 30 days; your photo is kept there only if you tick «Remember this photo on this device» (up to 30 days since its last use). «Delete my data» in the try-on window removes them.

Виртуальная примерка. На страницах товаров работает сервис виртуальной примерки Ziex Try-On. Если вы пользуетесь примеркой, загруженная вами фотография и изображение товара передаются сервису для создания изображения примерки. Для генерации изображения сервис использует вычислительную платформу fal.ai. Фотография и результат примерки хранятся на серверах сервиса 180 дней, после чего удаляются автоматически. Ваши результаты примерки («Мои образы») хранятся также в вашем браузере на этом устройстве до 30 дней; фотография сохраняется в браузере, только если вы отметите «Запомнить фото на этом устройстве» (до 30 дней с последнего использования). Удалить их можно кнопкой «Удалить мои данные» в окне примерки.

What the text says

  • The shopper's photo and the product image go to the service to create the try-on image.
  • The image is generated by the fal.ai platform.
  • The photo and the result are kept on the service's servers for 180 days and then deleted automatically.
  • The widget keeps the shopper's results («My looks») in the shopper's browser for up to 30 days.
  • The widget keeps the photo itself in the browser only if the shopper ticks «Remember this photo on this device». It is kept for up to 30 days since its last use.
  • The shopper can remove the data stored in the browser with «Delete my data» in the try-on window.

Your own responsibility

The transfer of the photo to fal.ai (United States) and the shopper's consent are a legal matter of the shop itself.
